The presentation took place at the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Community Empowerment Sky Mall Office, marking a pivotal moment in bolstering hygiene measures within the camp environment.

Beep Partners with the National Cultural Foundation to bring Crop Over Back to Life!

With the resumption of Carnival festivities across the Caribbean region, Beep joined with the National Cultural Foundation (NCF) to sponsor a series of Crop Over events in Barbados, the first Crop Over events to take place since the COVID-19 pandemic hit Barbados in 2020. These events commenced with the NCF Sweet Limes events, 8 limes held on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in June and July at various bars across the island. Beep Liquid Hand Sanitizer stations were present at each event to remind persons that while the festival season has resumed, we still need to stay safe.

July 2 marked the official launch of the Crop Over season during the Ceremonial Delivery of the Last Canes at the Portvale Sugar Factory, St. James. Barbadians were treated to cultural arts and crafts

Beep, which consists of liquid hand sanitizers, disinfectant sprays, air fresheners and dishwashing liquids, was also present at the Scotiabank Junior Monarch Finals on July 16. Young calypsonians and soca artists took to the stage at the Wildey Gymnasium to showcase their talent and love for the music of the festival. As they entered the Gymnasium, members of the audience received the Beep Travel Size Disinfectant Spray from the Beep promotional team. Patrons were reminded of the benefits of the Travel Size Disinfectant Spray, that can easily travel with them in their bags or even pockets, and can be used to disinfect high touch areas such as food counters and even bathrooms stalls while at parties during the Crop Over Season.

Samples of the Travel Size Disinfectant Spray were also distributed at the Republic Bank Pandemonium on July 24, held at the National Botanical Gardens, where patrons were treated to performances by local steel pan groups such as the BCC Pan Ensemble and the National Steel Orchestra, as well as local Soca artistes including Nikita, Biggie Irie and Lil Rick. Beep branded cups were also distributed to the event attendees as they entered the National Botanical Gardens on Sunday.

Pic-o-de-Crop, held on July 29 at the Kensington Oval, presented another opportunity for persons to learn more about the Beep Travel Size Disinfectant Spray as they entered the 3W’s main gate at the Oval. More commonly known for holding International Cricket matches, the Oval came alive with the sounds of Calypso as the Pic-o-de-Crop finalists took to the stage. The Beep promotional team was stationed at the entrance to the event to distribute the Travel Size Disinfectant Spray, along with branded Beep cups, to the patrons. They were also reminded to sanitize their hands using the Beep Liquid Hand Sanitizer dispensers stationed at the entrances and throughout the Kensington Oval.

Kensington Oval was alive again on Sunday, July 31, this time with the sounds of Soca, as Soca Rukshun commenced. Barbadian Soca artistes including Nikita, Krosfyah and Mole treated the spectators to some of their best songs produced for the 2022 Crop Over season. Beep Liquid Hand Sanitizer stations were located at the entrances and throughout the Oval, for persons to sanitize their hands and keep germs and viruses at bay.

The Crop Over season culminated in an array of colour and movement at Grand Kadooment on August 1st, the first of its kind since August 2019. At the end of this spectacular occasion, the jumpers and spectators were treated to performances by local Soca artists at the National Botanical Gardens. Jumpers were reminded to sanitize using the Beep Liquid Hand Sanitizer stations placed at the entrance to the National Botanical Gardens, as well as at the food stalls. The performers were also encouraged to sanitize using the dispenser stations that were placed backstage.

Beep Sponsors Carifta Aquatics Championships in Barbados

In April 2022, Beep and many other brands came together to sponsor the Carifta Aquatics Championships held in Barbados. Teams from the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Grenada, and many other islands across the Caribbean region, along with our very own Barbadian team, participated in the aquatic games, which included 2 events – Swimming and Open Water Championships.

The Beep promotional team was present at the Aquatic Centre in Wildey, St. Michael for the Opening Ceremony and exciting start to the championships on April 16.  Spectators and athletes were given a Travel Size Disinfectant Spray, and were encouraged to use the product to disinfect high touch areas while on the go. Spectators were also given colourful branded Beep cups, which they put to use as they watched the races. Beep Liquid Hand Sanitizer stations were also found at the entrances to the Aquatic Centre so persons could sanitize their hands and keep themselves safe.

The rain could not stop the promotional team from attending the Open Water Championships on April 20 at Carlisle Bay, St. Michael to distribute samples of the Beep Travel Size Disinfectant Spray to athletes and spectators alike, who were eager to receive the product and learn more about its ability to kill 99.9% of bacteria, mold and viruses, including the COVID-19 virus.

 

 

Fine Foods Inc. donates Beep Disinfectant Spray to Schools in Dominica

With the resumption of face-to-face classes, there are still concerns about keeping COVID-19 at bay and controlling the spread in schools across Dominica. As such Fine Foods Inc. (in collaboration with McBride (Caribbean) Limited, Barbados-based manufacturer of Beep products, made a donation of over EC$4,500 in Beep Disinfectant Sprays 18 oz. and the newly launched Beep Travel Size Disinfectant Spray 3.4 oz. to students and staff of the Pierre Charles Secondary, Portsmouth Secondary, Kelleb John Laurent Primary (St. Joseph), and Atkinson Primary Schools.

Beep Celebrates Heart Month in the Bahamas with the Sir Victor Sassoon Heart Foundation

Beep and Nassau Agencies (1995) Limited remain committed to giving back to the Bahamian community, and this donation is one of many Beep has made in recent months throughout the Caribbean region to support key institutions.

The month of February is celebrated across the Americas as Heart Month. This year to celebrate and to show their support for Heart month, Beep and Nassau Agencies (1995) Limited donated $2,000 in cash and Beep Disinfectant Spray to the Sir Victor Sassoon (Bahamas) Heart Foundation to aid in their fight against heart disease amid the COVID-19 pandemic. On hand to receive the donation was the Fundraising Co-Chair, Marilyn Cambridge, who said the foundation was very appreciative of the donation from Nassau Agencies. The Sir Victor Sassoon (Bahamas) Heart Foundation was established as a living tribute by Lady Sassoon following the death of her husband, Sir Victor Sassoon, in 1961 to assist Bahamian babies and children with heart disease.

Beep partners with Starcom Network’s Home for the Holidays 2021 Promotion in Barbados

With the world returning to travel and the relaxation of protocols, Starcom Network launched its annual Home for the Holidays promotion in October 2021, for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The promotion seeks to connect four Barbadian families with their loved ones living anywhere in the world for the Christmas season.

With the resumption of Mas Dominik activities in February 2022 and the increased services from front line workers it demanded, Fine Foods Inc., in collaboration with its supplier, McBride (Caribbean) Limited, has donated 600 cans of Beep Travel Size Disinfectant Spray 3.4 oz. to Dominica’s Nurses Association and the Police Force.

The donation of the Beep Disinfectant Spray was to help safeguard the frontline workers and their families from Omicron variant of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

E-Commerce and Marketing Coordinator, Ms. Marsha Augustine noted that the company was grateful for the opportunity to continue playing such an essential role, in assisting the Nurses and Police force with their safety efforts, as the nation is actively and collectively following protocols to decrease positive cases and casualties of the pandemic. McBride Donates BDS$10,000 in Beep Disinfectants to Schools in Barbados

February 18, 2022. With the phased resumption of face-to-face school across the island beginning on February 21, 2022, it is important for students, teachers, and support staff to return to schools safely. Local manufacturer of Beep products, McBride (Caribbean) Limited has donated more than BDS$10,000 (US$5,000) worth of Beep hand sanitizing and disinfectant spray products to a group of primary and secondary schools within its catchment area.

The donations of Beep Liquid Hand Sanitizer, Automatic Dispensers and Disinfectant Spray were made to the Christ Church Foundation Secondary School, Deighton Griffith Secondary School, Princess Margaret Secondary School, Gordon Walters Primary School, Reynold Weekes Primary School, St. Bartholomew Primary School, St. Christopher Primary School, Luther Thorne Memorial Primary School and Blackman Gollop Primary School.

Beep Lends a Helping Hand to the Homeless Community in Partnership with Street Lamp Ministries, Barbados

“With the current focus on home isolation and curfews to contain the surge of COVID-19 cases in Barbados, we must consider those among us who do not have a safe place to call home,” expressed Shari Green, Sales and Marketing Manager, McBride (Caribbean) Limited. It is with this in mind that McBride has partnered with All for God Street Lamp Ministries (registered charity #831) to donate Beep Liquid Hand Sanitizer products. These products will be shared with members of the homeless community and used at weekly feedings hosted by Street Lamp Ministries on Thursday nights in National Heroes Square in the city of Bridgetown.

Jerome Gittens, representative of Street Lamp Ministries, shared that the charity started from a simple act of kindness shown by two young ladies sharing their Christmas lunch. Ever since, they have been quietly servicing this underprivileged segment for over 19 years. The charity comprises devoted members from various Christian denominations including the Catholic, Pentecostal and Seventh Day Adventist churches as well as non-denominational, who have consistently contributed time and food items toward the effort to service over 130 homeless persons who have come to look forward to the weekly feedings. Bernadette Serieux, a long-standing member of the charity expressed deep gratitude to McBride and Beep. This sentiment was echoed by Pastor Dayle Haynes, Director of Community Services and Personal Ministries for the Eastern Caribbean Conference of Seventh Day Adventists and the Reverend Dr. Adrian Smith, Senior Pastor of Calvary Moravian Church, all of whom encouraged other private sector entities and the general public to support the work of Street Lamp Ministries.

Beep Ensures a Safe Return to Schools in The Bahamas Amid COVID-19

The month of September, normally known for “Back to School” in The Bahamas, took a slightly different turn this year as the country continues to navigate “the new normal” due to COVID-19. This year as both students and teachers from a number of schools prepared to return to the physical classrooms, Nassau Agencies Ltd., Beep’s local distributor in the Bahamas, led a collaborative brand effort with Beep, Seven Seas, Nature’s Bounty, H2K and VIT360 to ensure those on campus physically are equipped with the necessary tools to sanitize, disinfect and boost immune systems in efforts of ensuring that they have a happy and healthy school year.
